Gua sha is a therapy in which the skin is scraped to produce light transitory petechiae referred to as "Raising the sha". Raising the sha is indicatives of the removal of blood stagnation which is considered pathogenic. Electrical stimulation uses mild electrical currents that target either muscles or nerves. It helps relieve pain by blocking pain signals from being sent from nerves to the brain and helps with muscle recovery.
